You're a mean one, Mr. Gates...
Plurgh. I spew out this name with
all the bile from the back of my throat. Seriously, though,
Microsoft aren't as bad as the others in my list. However, there
are certain points about them that vex me somewhat. I don't have
much to say, so here it is :
- Why are you only allowed certain size
limits on web pages? I tried to upload my stories by
simply pasting them onto a web page, but, no matter how
much I scaled it down, the bloody thing wouldn't fit!
They're just words, for crying out loud! Plus, it's
insanely hard to view any documents you upload, unless
you have a .NET passport. Where's the sense in that?
- In a sign name for MSN Messenger, they
won't allow the word 'fuck' (which, in retrospect,
is understandable) or anything that demeans
Microsoft. However, they allow names such as 'AOL IS SHIT!!!'.
Upon notification from The Candyman, I have found out
that they also do not allow the word 'intercourse'. I
rest my case.
- Their ridiculous policy of 3MB of loading
space per web user is the reason why I moved the site in
the first place.
